 WAND Printed Circuit Board Depaneling
WAND Depaneling Systems, a division of Larsen Manufacturing,
designs and builds Printed Circuit Board Depaneling Equipment
for a wide range of applications. The Wand System sets the
standard for excising populated assemblies out of the carrier
panel. Multi-product design, coupled with the 12 sec/cycle time,
sets this system apart from all other depaneling processes.

The standard Singulation press is capable of punching
individual or multiple populated panels within
a 16” x 16” working area with option for 18” x 18”
working area. The operation is semi-automatic;
after the operator places the populated array into
the “Depaneler,” a shuttle transports the tool into the
enclosed cutting area for the separation. The bottom
tool returns to the operator and the cycle is complete. Total cycle time = 12.0 seconds.
Tooling Change:
Inherent in the design of the press, product changeover
is complete in under 3 minutes.
